In conversation with Alexander Armstrong

Join the much-loved actor, comedian, and presenter Alexander Armstrong as he brings his gripping children's series Evenfall to Shipston Bookfest.

Alexander will be talking about the latest instalment in his acclaimed series, Evenfall: The Tempest Stone.

The Evenfall series follows Sam, a 13-year-old who discovers he is the descendant of an ancient secret society tasked with protecting the world. It's a modern classic for children aged 9–12, packed with heart-pounding adventure, epic world-building, and stunning black-and-white illustrations by Tom Roberts.

Alexander will also share what drives him as a writer, including the challenges and joys of creating stories that young readers truly love. As a father to four sons, he understands how hard it can be to get children hooked on reading, so he set out to write the kind of book that grips from the very first page.
