On Whistledown Farm with Nicola Baker

Join Nicola Baker — author, farmer, and star of Channel 4's Our Farm in the Dales — for a warm and inspiring event all about the countryside, animals, and the joy of storytelling.

You may already know Nicola from Our Farm in the Dales, the beloved Channel 4 series she made with her husband Matt Baker, which won hearts across the country with its honest, joyful portrait of family farm life. Now Nicola has channelled that same magic into her debut children's book series, Whistledown Farm, stories bursting with muddy boots, fresh air, and outdoor adventures.

At this free event in partnership with Shipston Library, Nicola will talk about the world she's created in her books, what inspired her to start writing, and how farm life found its way onto the page. Whether your children are already fans or discovering her books for the first time, this will be a lovely event for families to enjoy together.
