Volunteer

Shipston Bookfest runs on the enthusiasm, hard work, and goodwill of our wonderful volunteers. From welcoming audiences at the door to helping authors feel at home, our volunteers are the friendly faces that make the whole festival tick; we couldn't do it without them.

There are lots of ways to get involved:

• Front of house & stewarding: welcoming audiences, checking tickets, and helping things run smoothly at events 

• Author liaison: looking after our visiting authors and making sure they have everything they need 

• Publicity & flyering: helping to spread the word around Shipston and beyond 

• Set-up and pack-down: getting venues ready before events and tidying up afterwards 

• Festival information point: being a friendly face and helping attendees find their way around 

You don't need any special experience, just enthusiasm, reliability, and a love of books. We'll make sure you know exactly what to do, and you'll be supported throughout.
